EveryoneProgram Description
You may have heard of geocaching, but have you ever heard of letterboxing? Letterboxing is a treasure hunt in which participants locate boxes which have been hidden throughout the community.
Through August 31, use clues found at atlasquest.com to start searching for any/all of the more than 30 letterboxes library staff have hidden throughout and nearby the Bloomington-Normal community.
Each box will contain a stamp press; participants will need to bring their own marker(s) from home. Once a box is located, color the stamp with the markers and press the stamp's image onto a piece of paper or into a notebook which also needs to be brought from home. The finders(s) walk away with the stamped image while leaving the box and stamp where they were found so they can be enjoyed by others on the quest.
