Program Description
The Teen Genre Book Club will meet on the second Wednesday of each month to discuss a different genre of book, giving you more choice of what to read. Pick any book that fits the month's genre. If you'd like suggestions, inquire at the Help Desk or in TeenZone.
The monthly genres for 2025 are as follows:
- January 8: Science Fiction
- February 12: Black Voices
- March 12: Intergenerational Relationships
- April 9: Novels in Verse
- May 14: Graphic Novels
- June 11: Pride
- July 9: Beach Reads (set in summer)
- August 13: Romance
- September 10: Reimagined Fairy Tales
- October 8: Latinx Literature
- November 12: Fantasy
- December 10: Mystery
Registration is suggested and can be completed online below, by calling 309.590.6168, or by visiting the Help Desk at the Library and registering in person.
