TeensProgram Description
Teens will use recycled soda bottles and cardboard to construct a flying airplane that they will power with a DC motor and battery. Once assembled, they will have the choice to leave their planes as they are or to decorate further with markers, decoupage, or paint. Once complete, teens can try flying their planes.
The program will take place in the library's Innovation Lab. Supplies will be provided, including soda bottles, cardboard, paper, glue, string, scissors, marker, paint, a DC motor, battery, battery connector, on/off button, and toy fan blade.
