Program Description

Veterans and their caregivers may be eligible for support services through the VA (Veterans Affairs Dept.). Join Debi Terfruchte, LCSW, General Caregiver Support Coordinator, for this presentation aimed at veterans, their families, and caregivers. She'll explain two different Caregiver Support Programs:

  • the Program of General Caregiver Support Services
  • the Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers.

What is the Caregiver Support Program?
The (VA) Caregiver Support Program offers clinical services to caregivers of eligible and covered Veterans enrolled in the VA health care system. The program’s mission is to promote the health and well-being of caregivers who care for our nation’s veterans through education, resources, support, and services.

This presentation will be held in person in Community Room 1, and there is no need to registration.
