Program Description

In preparation for the opening day of FAFSA* filing season (December 1) this workshop will help students create their FAFSA ID. A representative from the Illinois Student Assistance Commission will be onsite to assist.

Please bring the following items with you to the ID Workshop:

  • Social Security number

  • full name (as written on their Social Security card) 

  • date of birth

  • mailing address

  • email address

FAFSA Application Workshop
Plan to join us again from 5:30-7:30pm on Tuesday, December 3, to complete your FAFSA application with help from the Illinois Student Assistance Commission. You can read about that workshop at bit.ly/fafsa1203.

*FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. It should be completed as soon as possible after DECEMBER 1, 2024, for the 2025-2026 School Year. Awards are made until funds are depleted. This workshop is open to anyone attending college in 2025-2026.
