Innovation Lab Certification Request Form

Bloomington Library's Innovation Lab offers members of the community hands-on experiences with new technologies and equipment. Much of the equipment in the lab requires certification before it can be reserved and used. If you need help deciding what certification is best for the project you are hoping to complete, view below the list of available certification courses. To understand your responsibilities when reserving lab equipment, please familiarize yourself with Bloomington Library's Meeting Room Usage Policies.

First and Last Name (Up to 4 people can register for a class together) Library Card Number

An active Bloomington library card, eCard, or a library card from any Illinois public library which has been registered at Bloomington Library is necessary to use the equipment in the Innovation Lab. The library card must be unexpired. If you do not have a library card and you live in Bloomington or within the boundaries of the Golden Prairie Public Library District, you can apply for your free library card at bit.ly/bplgetacard. (The GPPLD includes most residents of the following townships: Arrowsmith, Bloomington, Dale, Dawson, and Old Town.)

If you live outside these areas, you will need to visit your home library to sign up for a library card.
