Tales for Tails

  • 6pm; on the Patio
  • Grades K-5
  • Registration is required and limited

This program pairs trained and certified therapy dogs with children in Grades K-5 who want to practice reading aloud. On the night that the program meets, there will be 4 timeslots available for kids to meet and read to a pup on the patio:

  • 6-6:10pm
  • 6:15-6:25pm
  • 6:30-6:40pm
  • 6:45-6:55pm

In the case of inclement weather, this program will be held in the Story Room. 

Beginning September 29, registration can be completed online at bit.ly/bpltails1020, by calling 309.590.6155, or by visiting the Children's Services Desk at the Library and registering in person. Miss Alex will personally email those who register to assign them a time slot and introduce them to the dog they'll be meeting!
