Calling all aspiring filmmakers, sound designers, and storytellers! Have you ever wondered how movies and video games come to life with their amazing sound effects and dialogue? Join us for Sound & Story: ADR & Foley for Teens, a hands-on program where you'll discover the art and techniques behind Automated Dialogue Replacement (ADR) and Foley sound creation for film!
What You’ll Learn:
- ADR (Automated Dialogue Replacement): Discover how actors’ voices are recorded and matched to their performances in films, TV shows, and video games. Learn how to dub dialogue and create seamless audio tracks!
- Foley: Explore the world of creating sound effects from scratch! You’ll experiment with everyday objects to create sounds like footsteps, doors creaking, and more for film and video games.
- Techniques & Tools: Get hands-on with professional sound equipment and software used in the industry to record, edit, and sync sound.
- Storytelling Through Sound: Understand the importance of sound in storytelling and how it enhances the viewer's experience, from thrilling action scenes to eerie moments.
