Make a Mason-Jar-Lid Pumpkin

Take & Make Craft

By taking part in this take-and-make craft, teens can create a fall-inspired pumpkin decoration. Kits will be reserved for the first 50 teens who register. An email with details about picking up the kit -- including a pickup deadline -- will follow registration. During registration, registrants will indicate if they’d like to pick up their kit at the Drive Up Lane, on the Bookmobile, or at the Checkout Desk. Beginning September 27, registration can be completed online below, by calling 309.590.6168, or in person at the Adult Services Desk.

Craft kits will contain: 24 canning bands, 2 pipe cleaners, brown cardstock, and written instructions. Participants will need to provide their own scissors and orange spray paint (optional).

No online instruction – neither pre-recorded nor live – will be provided.
