TeensProgram Description
Have you ever heard a song and said to yourself, "I wonder how they got this to sound like that!"
Well, now is the time to find out!
Teens in Grades 6-12 are invited to join us for an exciting hands-on workshop where creativity meets technology! Whether you're a budding musician, a seasoned producer, or just curious about the world of sound, this program is designed for all skill levels.
In this engaging two-hour session, participants will explore the fundamentals of beat making and digital audio production. You’ll learn how to create your own beats using easy-to-use software, discover essential techniques for layering sounds, and gain insights into music production basics.
Led by a local audio engineer with years of experience in studio recording and production, this workshop will cover:
- Introduction to digital audio workstations (DAWs)
- Beat creation techniques and sound design
- Tips for mixing and mastering your tracks
- An overview of music genres and their unique sounds
Bring with you a portable USB drive (Flash Drive/External Hard Drive), and feel free to share your creative ideas! We’ll provide some sample sounds and resources to get you started.
Don’t miss this chance to dive into the world of music production and unleash your inner artist.
