The Bloomington Public Library is a Wi-Fi hotspot. Most users can simply bring their wireless-enabled laptop computer or other wireless device to the library and turn it on. The computer will automatically recognize the wireless network. However, everyone's computer is different and you are responsible for knowing how to configure your own equipment. The Library cannot be responsible for any changes you make to your computer's settings.
Wireless users agree to abide by the Library's policy, which prohibits abusive or illegal activity while using the Library's Internet service. The Library's Internet filter cannot be turned off when using the wireless service.
Wireless printing is available. Click here for details.
The Library provides Windows-based computers for customer use for up to 120 minutes (2 hours) per day.
A library card in good standing or an ecard is required to use the computers. Information about library cards can be found here.

Customers 17 and older use the Adult Services computers. Teens ages 12 to 18 can choose a laptop in teenZone or a desktop in Adult Services. Children age 11 and under use computers in Children's Services.
Computers and wifi shut down 15 minutes prior to closing. The last computer appointment each day can be made about 25 minutes prior to closing.
